Who can be a Member
Any person who does work of a legal nature - those working in a law office (secretaries, file clerks, document clerks, administrators, legal assistants/paralegals, law librarians, and even attorneys), court personnel and judges, educator, students, and those employed by legal vendors (document service companies, legal copy companies, etc.) - can become a member of NALS of Phoenix. Each Member must also agree to comply with the NALS Code of Ethics and Code of Professional Responsibility.

How do I become a Member?
It's easy - just fill out the Membership Application and forward it to NALS, along with your payment. Don't forget to send a copy to your Local Director of Membership. Click here for the Membership Application in .pdf format.

What are the different categories of Membership?
- Regular Membership - $143 per year (includes national, state, and local membership dues).
- Associate Membership - $75 per year (includes national, state, and local membership dues) - an associate membership applies to educators, judges, and attorneys.
- Student Membership - $49 per year (includes national state, and local membership dues) - a student membership applies to those persons taking legal related related courses, with a minimum of 9 credit hours.
- Lifetime Membership - $1,500 (includes lifetime national dues only) - individual(s) will be billed annually for state and local dues.
What are the benefits of being a Member?
- Education - NALS of Phoenix holds its monthly educational meetings on the second Thursday of each month beginning at 6:00 p.m. For more information on upcoming meetings go the the "Events" tab.
- Networking - Meet new friends, reacquaint yourself with old ones, or connect with someone who may be a great referral source - the possibilities are endless!
- Affinity Programs - NALS members receive a variety of discounts on such things a Federal Express, rental cars, air travel, insurance, and audio and Web conferencing. These are just a few of the benefits that NALS has to offer.
